Tom Fords Ocean Plastic Watch

Best known for his best known for sleek suits and polished fashion, Tom Ford has now launched Ocean Plastic watches made from 100% Ocean waste and each watches uses the equivalent of 35 plastic bottles. In a bid for sustainability Tom Ford have also launched a $1.2M prize fund to Find a Biologically Degradable Alternative to Poly Bags

The 42mm case, bezel, and NATO-inspired strap are all made entirely out of ocean plastic for an eco-friendly approach to the sport watch. The watch also includes an automatic movement, a healthy amount of Super-LumiNova for clear legibility in all lighting circumstances, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and 330 ft. of water resistance. The watch is available in a number of different colour combinations (we quite like the orange an black, Like a 911 dial)

Working in conjunction with 52HZ, Tom Ford has introduced the Tom Ford Innovation Prize. The scheme aim to provide a new solution to poly bags and a replacement to thin-film Plastic.
